How much time to learn piano ?

I think the way its formally taught is outdated & confusing. Look up tips & shortcuts on youtube. Do you have any musical foundation?

As with most all instruments, you’re always learning
But it depends on the depth of player you wish to be

It's probably an individual thing.
I don't remember how long it took, it's been 40plus years ago.🙈 But the basics don't take that long, a few weeks maybe, then it progresses over time.

It is a musical instrument I have always wanted to learn to play myself. I find the sound very calming.

You can always improve, so it really depends on what level you want to get to

Would take me at least 3 eternities.

I gave up after an hour.
