Have you ever taken pills just because? I feel like there is no reason. I just take them.

I know this is bad and I know I should seek help. I just wanted to vent.

No. And you really shouldn't do that. My best friend died from mixing pain pills.

You should look into a recovery program.

@SW-User How did you get passed it? If you did.

You should seek some help, they are more addictive and deadlier if you are using them habitually, even deadlier than heroin, cocaine and alcohol and even worse if you’re mixing with alcohol. It’s just not looked at seriously because they are pharmaceutical drugs rather than illicit. Please try and knock them to the kerb.

@fallenite It's been a while since I've been on it, but it just didn't click with me. SW has a special place in my heart because of EP.

I used to be a huge pill addict. I used to snort opanas which are super strong pain killers. They would make me nod out for hours. It was just a way for me to feel good.

I think it’s dangerous to build up reliance on them. However, you can kick them by talking about it. Hell, even talk to me if that helps

Lots of fricking benzos! I manage to get off cold turkey I know it wasn't a good idea but yeah...

I guess it would depend on the type but in short, yes.
@SW-User I've been taking anything I can get my hands on. My nans really strong painkillers, paracetamol, (but a lot of it) cocodimol.

@lauriethecolourful You obviously need to be careful with codeine because of addiction. That's why they say to only take it for a few days at a time.

As for paracetamol, if you are taking within the daily limits then it shouldn't do any harm. If you are exceeding the prescribed limit then there can be a cumulative overdose effect that can do real damage.
