Whats that goth smell?

I have a couple of Goth friends. I always notice a pleasurable smell in their rooms and inside their cars. What is it? It's hard to describe but I notice many of them have this unique scent. I want to know because my car smells like pizza and chips. I want mine to smell like theirs.
