Do you say what others want to hear when they're asking for advice because why waste energy on people?

Never. If you can’t tell the truth, don’t say anything at all, is the way I feel.

No I'd rather just be up front and help them. If I can't, I don't say anything. Simple.

No. If someone wants my genuine advice I'll give it to them, if I have advice to give. Just telling people what they want to hear does nothing but hurt them more in the long run

I've kinda given up on giving advice..
No matter what is said they bite the hand that feeds them!
