Why is religion bad?

Religion disonnects people from reality and diminishes their autonomy.

Because leaders use it to isolate, not bring people together.

It's not bad. Bad people just use it as a tool, and make it look bad. Some are entirely bad in their fucked up beliefs, like live sacrifice and such, but again, bad people.

Religion like any concept or inanimate object is not bad. People will use it to do bad things. Ergo people are bad.

Religion is not bad.
Just the leaders and teachers who take religious texts and rewrite them or eliminate teachings THEY feel aren't appropriate for public.

And when religious leaders join forces with the military to wage war in the name of THEIR GODS and force their conquered nations to worship THEIR GODS.

IT'S NOT THE RELIGIONS THEMSELVES THAT ARE BAD JUST THE FUCKED UP LEADERS WHO TEACH RELIGIONS

Collectivism..........us vs them mentality. Hard to bring people together with that mindset.
