It’s not necessary but could be very useful. There is a lot about owning a buisiness that people don’t realize. A degree could give you knowledge about employment and business law as well as some useful marketing and accounting skills.
Depends on the business... some massive companies were started by dropouts after all but if you're opening a medical practice it'd be a good idea to be a doctor.
