Why do they ask are you a robot?

Ok, like if you apply for something or you sign up for something it asked “Are you a robot?”
No, I am not a robot, but would a robot say they’re a robot and how and why would a robot me on a computer.

there are robot spammers
and they can't understand the prove your not a robot tests
they are not questions ,you have to find like images
for some reason that messes them up ,its not a question
