Do you think it's stupid to reach out to High School teachers for job help?

I say this because I've seen some of my HS teachers and they actually still remember me, by first and last name. I also had my 6th grade principal remember me, for good reasons obviously🙂 if I want to reach out.
Do you think they'd be able to help? I'm gonna look them up on LinkedIn. I think asking them anything via facebook would be inappropriate don't you?

I went to school for Public Health and am thinking that I would like to work for the school district in some way.

Also, I've applied for various jobs with the school district but haven't gotten anything😕

You could try, the principal or a teacher may know someone who knows of a job, ya never know

Quite reasonable to use as referee I would think but do be certain they will give a useful reference.

I believe it’s very inappropriate. Once you have graduated you are done. The last thing teachers need is contact with past students when they are dealing with current students.
