How do you mount a throttle to a handle bar when the locking pin within the casing has broke?

a strip of rubber between the handlebar and the throttle casing, and then tighten? maybe? So annoying! 😒

Either a thin strip of rubber or wrap some duct tape around the handlebar and take a BFH to put the throttle casing on,IDK.You may be able to jig-rig something with a bicycle brake cable.I did that on a VeloSolex moped I owned years ago.It lasted about 6 months but I had to adjust it 2 or 3 times a week. It's gonna be a PITA if you don't bite the bullet and get the correct parts;it's up to you, bro.

Can you buy a new part?

@MougyWolf lol Sounds like fun! Is that piece going to be expensive? I think it's worth it. Ride safe! Can you show me a picture of the bike? I'd love to see it!What color is it?

This is it. but I've since put a new engine on it (looks about the same as this engine, but is newer, and more powerful)
The part I am needing won't be too expensive in comparison.

Solid frame, re-enforced rims, and now with a new engine, she purrs. ^^

I over paid on this project, but I wanted it. xD It gets me back and forth from work (and it IS a lot of fun!) lol
