i dont write for a living but i do love to be creative and push the envelope between reality and imagination. i started writing a novel and have around 27k words thats somewhat autobiographical but not 100%. for me, its real easy to write about painful memories and turning them into positive endings.

First of all, don't pressure yourself. Find out what audience you want to write for, and take it from there. Knowing what genre they want to read will help gain an audience.

... you won't get 500.000 readers if you're new to writing... no one will be interested in reading someone's book about themselves if they're not famous... you will definitely not reach it if you dont even have an idea. try to aim a bit lower buddy. :/

Write -anything- to get going. Just describe whatever object is to your left. Tell a story about it. Just get the words out there.

You can move to your ideas once you're 'in the zone' so to speak.
