I was in my mid 20's or close to them. So yes, I have a lot of memories form them..

Namely that fuckhead Jimmy Carter fucking the financial base of the US so bad as he was too ignorant to understand it. Interest rates 24% anyone. How is home buying going for you? Oh- you live in a alley or with your mother? That's nice. Thank peanut picking Jimmy with the alcoholic embarrassment of a brother. (BTW, a magazine back in the day interviewed him about what he likes to eat- he likes to eat TURKEY GONADS)

@NigelDoes: i was lucky. Worst was a hamstring tear (near where it connects to the knee). I was only off the ice for a couple of weeks.

Yep. At that point, I had just gotten my first real drum equipment: a Slingerland snare, Pearl bass drum pedal, and a Tama high hat stand. I felt like an astronaut. That Pearl pedal is on my bass drum downstairs. It is 38 years old!

I also went to Disney World with my family. Shot some Super 8 footage, had a great time, had grits for the first time ever. The rides were amazing.
