My favorite was teaching little ones to swim at the local rec center. I was 14, though, and i became close friends with the other teen workers, so might be why. Also, swimsuits. Of course, the occassional child-vomit and diarrhea was not exactly great. Or the crying and uncooperative 3-5 year olds. The 8-12 year olds were pretty funny and easy to work with, though. Course, you have to get several certifications and take a swimming course and learn the different styles if you dont know them. Water Safety Instructors would make around $12/hr. Ow... Nostalgia.
Then Lifeguarding, which was actually kind of boring, but it wasnt bad.
Then, delivery driving, which was okay. Except at that point, i got tired of working around teenagers. Easy to get; easy to do; average around $15 an hour, with gas costs. Fucks your car up over a long period. All the starting and stopping and residential driving. But, you can make a good $15- $20 an hour.

@IrretrievableObito: they have lease car programs and depending on how many rides you do they will cover all or part of the payment. Go online and check it out for yourself. @WanabeKristi: Mm. Thanks, man. I'll definitely keep that in mind. My 2005 Honda with no A/C, in Texas, makes it tempting.

@Tryingtofindabalance: Well I know I'm worth much more I'm worth like $25 or more an hour now. I have a master's and just am getting my full license in my field. But I have two part time jobs and they're both kinda stiffing me on hours. So while I continue applying for full time jobs getting paid what I'm worth, I'm not below working three part time jobs.
