There is a stand-up comedy routine by the Australian Steve Hughes.
You may have seen it.
Basically he says that if you're watching 'X-Factor' you're an idiot.
He then goes on to list loads of rock bands produced in the UK. As if to prove the point that you can't manufacture talent !
I was just trying to take it one step further and try and alphabetize from A-Z, as many good Brit. rock/pop groups that everybody would have known up until about 1990.
