Why does Windows 10 Home cost $119 and £119?

GlassDog · 41-45, M
The British never seem to care about being overcharged for stuff. Compare the price of a Dominos pizza here with other countries.

Large stuffed crust with double pepperoni, ground beef, mushrooms and red onions = £28.19 / $36.48 / 32.55 Euros. I bet they don't cost this much in most countries.

It doesn't.

@DerrickObama: It's also far less than the retail version. Unless you switch PCs every two weeks there is no need to buy the full retail version.

@GermanAf: What about inside a virtual environment? If you buy an OEM license to use in virtualbox, will windows activation be able to detect any changes if the virtual machine specs stay the same, even if you're running it on a different physical machine?

@DerrickObama: If you copy the VM there shouldn't be any problems.
maybe you should look into linux

@SatyrService: I use linux but there are some things that are frankly easier to use with windows.
@DerrickObama: I keep my systems
on partitions, so i can use my old software
