is it easy to get job for an indian in U.S?

Engineering degree. Medicine. Computer science. It may sound prejudiced but east Indians are collectively much smarter than most of the west. You will not see them working at McDonald's or even many blue collar jobs. They are engineers, doctors, developers, and programmers and such, and they don't have trouble finding jobs in the US if the US knows what's good for them.

@puck61: I agree. So many of US industries are so government controlled that they have become regulatory compliance driven. I had a neighbor who worked in the legal department of a semi-government agency and 80% of their work was resolving employee squabbles. People from India are seen as smarter and more professionally or goal focused on what it is they do rather than on how to fit into the system.

We have a young couple friends from India and they both have great jobs. My wife mentored one of them to help get her into her field and smooth over some credential needs and she found her fit. There may be some issues where there are professional licensing requirements, but the process of getting in sync can also serve to help you meet some of the locals who in turn can help you find a place.

No but the company I work for has many. They hire for computer skills but also outsource to programmers in India.

I don't think your nationality should have a factor
