Trumpster and non Trumpster,....what do you think?

I think Comey should testify and if possible his memos regarding Trump meetings and calls with him should be released if they are not on Classified material.

I don't like Trump....I do NOT want him impeached.

Not unkess there is irrefutable evidence he broke the law.
Just because many of us don't like him, it's a slippery slope to ask for his head, without giving him the presumption of innocence too.

His Administration so far has been a test case in Chaos. That doesn't mean he should be impeached.
Impeachment is a long process and a devastating one for the nation.

Unfortunately, most of the people around him, many of whom are NOT multimillionaires will now have to hire lawyers, many will lose their jobs as Trump blames them or as he tries to find a way to balance the ship.

Whether I think he is he is guilty or not is far different from my hoping that he is not. And I sincerely hope he is not.

The country deserves better, and at this moment, I hope we can find the patience to let investigations find the truth where it leads them.

Besides, the GOP does no have the political will to toss a Republican President overboard. They have nothing to gain and everything to lose. But, should these investigations take a long time, Trump will take down a lot of GOP nominees in 2018.

For the country, let's hope this all ends soon and regardless of affiliation, that the regular working people in the White House are not burdened financially by what this administration asks of them.

God Bless America

Not sure if there are many non-multimillionaires around him. Goldman Sachs now has the keys to the car.

If what Comey says is true, which i don't doubt, that's an impeachable offense. If crimes are found in the investigation, that raises it to another level.

I DO want him impeached. His popularity is driven by emotion and not fact. That's dangerous for the country in many ways. And by impeaching him I'm not sure if the country would suffer because of that process. I think it would actually strengthen our democracy and show that we're not susceptible to the cult of personality. Democracy HAS to be stronger than an individual.

Of course, the "real American patriots" would have a hard time getting behind that. At the very least they're being exposed for what they truly are.

@CassandraFemale17: Well, yeah but they weren't appointed and don't have access to the President. Their jobs aren't on the line. Maybe some in the Communications Dept. but they tend to come and go anyway.
CassandraFemale17 · 26-30, F
@Ynotisay: mhmm. If not every two bit celebrity will line up to be President, and CAN be, if they have 10,000,000 followers.

That and hijacking a party with 50,000,000 like Trump did...and they are in.

Who is next?
Kanye?
Kim?
Caitlyn?, god forbid
Miley? Lmao

The basically think it's easy. Beyond ignorant, and beyond unprepared

@CassandraFemale17: It's like hiring a plumber to fix the electricity. I'd like to think "we've" learned our lesson but I've come to never underestimate the idiocy of way too many Americans.
Not unkess there is irrefutable evidence he broke the law.
I think Comey's February memo is actually evidence that puts it beyond the legal standard of guilt, i.e. beyond a reasonable doubt.

@firefall: I read this mornings that several Republicans on the Hill are trying to frame the conversation Trump had with Comey as that Trump was kidding!

My response......

YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING!!!!

This take was presented not even by the White House, but by GOPers trying to reframe it.
firefall · 61-69, M
@CassandraFemale17: yah, talk about desparate flailings: idk how they'd even keep a straight face, saying that. It's not like he has a history of kidding people like that: quite the reverse, he has a history of blundering into illegality just like this (reading about his various bankrputcies just gets depressing, that way).

Well I think we have only hit the tip of the iceberg I think when Mr Comey starts talking we will learn a lot more like Tump force Mr Comey to announce that the FBI was reopening the the case against Mrs Clinton.
CassandraFemale17 · 26-30, F
@updown2020: he wouldn't have forced the reopening of the investigation. He wasn't President then, and he certainly wasn't anticipated to become Prez
updown2020 · 61-69, M
@CassandraFemale17: Well true he was not Prez yet but I think he had something to do with it because unless Mr Comey made a big mistake it's not normal for the FBI or and law enforcement to tell the public what they are up to.
CassandraFemale17 · 26-30, F
@updown2020: in a convoluted way, he thought his hand was forced to do so.

It was beyond unfortunate, but from his angle he had a point.

And it pointed to the GOP, lol

@CassandraFemale, I think you said all this very well, and made some great points. Like him or or dislike him, hate him or support him, the good of the country is what is most important. The country is much more than any politician of any party serving in any office.

What a clusterf*** this administration has turned out to be. NO, he should not be impeached unless there is no choice, but there must be a lot of people looking anxiously forward to the year 2020...
What the people who still insist on the "but Hillary" arguments should remember is that when advised about further investigation into those emails, Hillary said "Bring it on !" Trump is the one who has tried time and time again to shut out and shut up the media, and the one worried about people reporting on what he says and does. Obviously he's the one with sometime to hide and everything to lose.
CassandraFemale17 · 26-30, F
@bijouxbroussard: I remember that too.

Trumps people are going to find out what multi-million dollar investigations microspcoping on their actions feel like.

They are going to eat their own words on Hillary as news media play and replay all the things said about her when they had no idea the shoe would one day be on their own foot.
