I see this too,👀Values are placed on looks, not much else. They have grown up with smart phones in their hands. They are more antisocial because of the internet. Yes there has been a big shift and I'm afraid it's not for the best. I don't know how much further towards the end of the earth we can go🌏without falling off?! All that counts anymore is instant gratification for sure. We need more quality time together and learn how to have REAL relationships. ⭐This is a great video and I hope more watch it. Thanks for sharing. I also see there IS some good.😉

Interesting but it doesn't tell the whole story and some of his claims are dubious...all these "studies show" - what studies and where can I find them? And young people today are tested and feel they have to compete with each other from the age of 7 (SATS). They are constantly tested and told they need to work hard.

Also (although it is falling) for several years the highest rate of suicide is actually for men over the age of 45 (you can find suicide rates from the office of national statistics).

I work with teenagers and young people, and I can tell you they have a very strong work ethic but with the decline in manufacturing and other traditional industries it is much tougher for them than ever before. Most of them will never be able to afford to buy their own house and there is hardly any social housing any more.

Mobile phones are a plague but its not only young people who are addicted to technology!

It is a different world now, and if we keep bashing young people they won't want to look after us in our old age!

@SW-User I've heard it said our kids are gonna have it way rougher than we do.😓

Every video he does is worth a view, but i think he's one of the first social media folk to actually ASK the question !
His explanation may not be the entire truth of the matter, but it's a great starting point for discussion i thought.

I loved that at the end of the video he says,"click here for more videos and HERE to subscribe"🤦
Evidently many have become infected with Pavlov's dog syndrome.. I may heart this not only because I like it but I'm getting a dopamine fix from the new exploding hearts!

Yes, it 'kind of' gets to the heart of a first world problem. His statement that today's youth are the most tolerant is quite inaccurate, though. A study concluded that violence among young people is on the rise; attributable to overpopulation. Perhaps millennials will complete the generations cycle and give rise to the final war.

Oops! Intolerant changed to tolerant. This makes far more sense.

Happens everywhere...makes me sad. I had an awesome childhood with nothing like technology around...only real people and real things...
Great, thanks for posting that... pretty much as I thought although, I was very touched by the values. <3
