Has anybody been in your face and told you the truth straight up about something?

One of my doctors told me bluntly that so needed to lose weight and I am one more step to getting diabetites. She was like, "You need to lay off the funk food, and stop letting yourself go and you need to lose weight! Damn it (she slammed the paperwork on the table) you are one more step of getting diabetes girl!"
I was shocked. I had tears in my eyes. She was like, "I'm not yelling at you. I'm just telling you. I'm getting you to understand what you're doing to your body and you need to lose weight and stop letting go and don't let any man tell you to stay overweight for them. Stop letting it happen and do you!" she was harsh but she did make a good point. She didn't have to get in my face like that. That was pretty rude. Anyways has that happen to you? I was like 240lbs or 250lbs at the time.
I freaking love it! Being it on!!
@BigDana27: Its something that you can just express in the moment, there is no hiding or keeping quite or passively waiting for the next moment. I prefer people being direct and aggressive to my face even tho it is offensive Atleast there's no games or passive aggressiveness cos that really grinds my gears
@nihiless: Oh. Well I held to be straightfoward and tell it like it is. I just don't like to lie. I won't soften up the truth.
@BigDana27: I've recently been looking at anorexia online a bit it does swing both ways whether you are overweight or underweight it is having an enormous impact on your body maybe she was taking the 'cruel' approach to help you to understand it can give a person a greater awareness than being kind and polite
I love these types of people.
@Johntom: I'm glad she was honest but she didn't have to get in my face like that.
Your doc is trying to light a fire under your ass.

I wouldn't look into it any deeper then that.

None of this can be your doctor actually caring about you?
