how long do typical friendships last?

@Chernobylplayground: i don't really think im that good of a friend tho because i'll probably get tired of it & then leave without a word. I like to help but i don't see myself getting consumed into it that way. I can barely even text my friends back anyhow, but i just do a better job with friends that need some help or someone to tell them they care

@crabbyhermit: that seems like most of my friendships do the same thing. either a year or two for the average lost one that was almost a decade. only have one thats been long lasting.
