Why do some people not check their messages on here?

They've all got like 137 messages. Makes me wonder what displaying the screenshot is really about.

I think they get enough pervy, weird things they get trained to not open them. particularly from certain names

They do it to show others the number, not realising that your gender here affects the number of messages you get lol

because 99% of the time its a stranger saying 'hey'... 🤔

Maybe they were going to check it afterwards. It could be they really felt like posting something that instance while it's still very fresh to them.

You can click on the inbox icon to see the message without even clicking on the actual message which is probably why

because just because people write to you, doesn't mean you're always interested in what they had to say, or even up for having a conversation at that time. also, you can see previews pretty well withough even opening it if it's not too long

It'll mean they haven't responded. Sometimes you can glance without clicking onto it and the number remains.
