How do I get rid of all longing inside me?

Who knows the opportunity to cross something off might pop up when you least expect it.

Until then I need to find a way to get rid of this awful feeling

You need a distraction because longing can feel like an eternity

I guess I long for a place in this world

@Under1: I knew that already...sorry, it's where you are in life right now...I knew because 99% of 18-21 year olds here are equally confused and longing and wanting their life to be ALL set....where does it say you are supposed to know and be settled at your age? It doesn't work that way. Now is when you begin to learn who you are through grown up life experiences. Then you'll know

I don't know, I just know I feel like there are many things missing in my life. I look at people of a similar age that are around me and I feel so disconnected and lost compared to them, they seem to be doing so well, enjoying life and 10 steps ahead... I know it's not good to compare, but it's an awful feeling to feel so much longing. It's really unbearable sometimes

@MisterClean910: it's kinda a big thing that feels so much out of reach. Just to feel a sense of place. I know it sounds simple enough but it's not
