@FurryFace: Not as bad as parakeets, I've had rabbits before. You can separate the males from the females and they are OK with that. Parakeets, though, it'd break their hearts to take their mates away. I just had to be quicker about taking their nesting box out of the cage before the mama could sneak in and start another nest of eggs.
