I have had way too many influences from other people on my music tastes to really figure out what I liked on my own as a kid.

Probably something like KC and the sunshine band. Mid-70's.
I would have been about 10.
Disco. Just sounded like 'happy' music.

Beethoven, Soundgarden, Nina Simone, etc...
