I just watched and listened to two videos re JFK. What has happened to our choices in Presidents???

One video is an interview from the Oval Office.
The other is a press conference.

The intellect of that man was/is astounding.
Not only his grasp of the issues, his calm, intelligent, measured answers. His vocabulary was massive, his understanding, and the way he answers so honestly and so clearly deferring when he doesn't know the answer.

What a privilege to watch him.
And what a shock considering the current occupant of the White House, and his inability to take responsibility, to tell the truth, to speak in cohesive sentences, and to blame anyone but himself.

I will make sure now to study Kennedy.
Incredibly smart, charming, humorous, and calm.

@waleskinder: what a man though!

How smart, and how comfortable in himself.
A pleasure, and as I said a privilege to be able to watch.

@CassandraFemale17: The events that took him out, and a few years later his brother, were what amounted to a coup d'etat in the US. It was a tough, painful turning point for those of us who lived at that time. I was in a college dorm studying for a midterm test when the news came over the radio that the president had been shot.

I admire him as well

I enjoyed his book "Profiles in Courage" in the fiction movie 11/22/63 there is a scene of him speaking and it just stops your heart.

The elites don't like smart people that can be a threat, so killed him. They instead like a dumbed down slave population too busy fighting made up racism and using snapchat filters to be a threat to them.
