Am I the only one who can't stand horror movies?

I just can't, and won't watch them.
Why watch something that will stay with me and creep me out, and disturb my sleep, and scare me?

In a way I wish I can just enjoy them as fiction like most people.
But that would mean watching them enough to 'immunize' myself of the fear, and I won't put myself through it.

Most horror movies aren't even scary, they're either just extremely gross or sad. Like, some random cheesy special FX monster murdering people. It makes you feel bad, not creeped out or scared.

I am sure there are some big boobed wanna be actresses that have played nothing but extras getting killed at the beginning of every horror movie, out there, somewhere that are pretty sick of them to.

I love horror films. Sometimes i like to scare myself silly by youtubing scary videos in the dark.

Yikes. No thanks. Sometimes I wish I could watch them, but then I feel I'm better off not watching them. I totally imagine I am in the story and it's happening, so I can't.

Lol, kidding.
But you couldn't pay me to watch something scary.

I will ride any roller coaster and laugh through it, ski down crazy terrain, jump in a parachute, anything physical.... but I won't watch a horror film.

@DIIchotomy: I don't believe in ghosts at all.

That doesn't mean the acting, lighting, creepy music won't get to me
