It can be daunting. You need to make the move is you want a relationship. If you're scared perhaps take some time and think about what you want from it or think about the pros and cons. It's never a good idea to start one with a list of fears that end up making you scared and nervous

Nervous is normal. If it helps maybe talking to them and discussing your worries. Explain you're a nervous type of guy to them. Better to discuss it and find you're not compatible than get feelings going and then end terms because you didn't click. If that makes sense
