I jump around between a general English accent and a New Zealand inflected one. And if I feel naughty I speak in a deliberate Scottish accent!

@euphoricnebulae: idk how else to say it since it's not a California accent
Danez · M
No one thinks or knows they have an accent lol 😂
NorthernRoses · 22-25, F
Lol yeah, but typically people tell them if they have an accent so most people who have one knows.

I can't hear an accent when I speak, but I've been told I have one, soo
Cindy · F
People in the midwest don't
Danez · M
@NorthernRoses: only when I travel do people notice that I don't have the same accent as they and will ask. I've traveled a fair bit and know a little of several languages and I pay notice their accents and tend to mimic them unconsciously when I try to speak their language.
But yeah I understand what you mean.
