depending on where you live is having a car to get around a must?

ForeverOnMyGuard · 22-25, F
Yes, the nearest city is 20 minutes away by car (so like 15-20 miles), the one I go to for college and shit is 30 minutes away on the interstate (so like 30 miles). The towns aren't close together and I don't even live in a town. The nearest town is too far away for me to walk.

I drive for a living, everything is very spread out the freeways have been one big construction project for years, overcrowded and always jammed, we have transit system if you can put up with riding with loud obnoxious thugs.

It would be very hard for me to get to work and back on public transit because of my location

No, especially not in Manhattan….a lot of people don't have them.

Yes. I'm 20 miles away from the nearest town. So a car is a must.

It is. our public transportation is so-so and everything is spread out and not practical to walk to get around, but they're trying to improve public transportation.
