A man has died

You may recall my post regarding 'Ice' on the roads where I live and how the local council was so utterly negligent they didn't bother gritting the roads in the slightest.
The man who was concussed from the event has died from his head-injury. The council are directly responsible for this man's death. It was their responsibility to ensure the icy roads were safe to drive on, they did not do that, and as a result a man has now died. A life has been taken thanks to sheer laziness.
Do what you will with this information.

Really? Isn't it incumbent on the driver to take into account the road conditions and drive in a safe and prudent manner? Sorry, speed too fast for conditions is the responsibility of the driver not councils responsibility to correct for an act of nature.

@twofacetoo: what did they say?

As of yet nothing, I'm awaiting a response.

Okay
I'm so sorry. Poor man.

That is so sad .
Well the council should be held accountable for his death .
I hope the guys family will take them all the way to court.

That's horrible :(

Hi buddy did you ever hear what happened to that case???
twofacetoo · 26-30, M
Oh don't I know it.

@twofacetoo: I just hope his family don't just give in.

As do I

Or not enough funding to supply the needs to make the roads safe.

Expect more of this in the new administration.

@twofacetoo: did he commit suicide? did someone shoot him dead?
twofacetoo · 26-30, M
If you bothered to read my original post you'd know that his car collided with another on an icy road, and when he attempted to get out, he slipped on the ice and hit his head.
The road should have been gritted and salted, the main roads were but this one wasn't. As a result there was a crash and two people were injured, one of whom is now dead. It was the job of the council to ensure this kind of thing doesn't happen, and now it has, with one man dead.
I'll say it again: negligence.
But hey, people die every day, right? Fuck it if one more dies because some rich cunt couldn't be bothered spending a little more money on keeping people alive.

I read what you wrote.
your reply had no connection to what I said.
Was he texting or drunk?

Typical England

This happened in Scotland, where I live.

@twofacetoo: just as bad in England, the council don't give a shit
twofacetoo · 26-30, M
@Adelh91: Very true, which is why I'm contacting them directly regarding this.
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
twofacetoo, seriously you should have better stuff to worry about than other people not sanding the roads...
