Why do people go after the innocent party?

[c=#4C0073]I have never understood why people who are angered by the actions of someone go after the innocent. Such as:
Cheating- Why go after the one they cheat with instead of the spouse?
Police brutality - Why kill random cops instead of the one who committed the offense?
Racism - Why random violence? Why not beat up kkk or whatever members?

If you're angry enough to be violent, why create more victims? Why not go after the guilty?[/c]

I agree with you..i think people go after the "weaker" ones.Because it is easier, but it creates more problems.

their frustration at not being able to hit the guilty.

That's exactly how I feel. I think it's because only the most irrational of the wronged actually have so little to lose that they can actually go out and commit these acts of "retribution". But I'd like to think that if I ever lost my shit and was committed to do something drastic, I'd at least do something meaningful. Like shoot up a kkk rally or suicide bomb the president elect

Because people are inherently stupid.

There's a fairly famous case where a group of idiots went and murdered someone because they found out he was a "paedophile". He was in fact a "paediatrician". So they murdered someone who doesn't abuse children, but someone who helps children. Why? Because they can't spell. I think that summarises where we are in society currently...

If I cheated, I would expect to be terminated for it by the woman I cheated on.
Because that would make too much sense---and it would be difficult to do without risk to oneself. And such people are basically cowards.
