The Beatles don't appear on my list. In my opinion if it wasn't for George Martin they wouldn't have got anywhere. I was never really into Led Zeppelin but they did have some good songs. Pink Floyd I favour up until Roger Waters left. I didn't like them after that.

Waters was the good writer, if PF had done all instrumentals after he left, it would have been all right.

True. I have heard live recordings and they sounded awful. But also I believe without Lennon they wouldn't have amounted to anything.
