When you say i love you

I'm expressing myself, and I hope they have some kind of positive reaction.
If I said "I love you" and they responded with "ok", I would feel pretty crappy.

just telling them how I feel about them - no expectation for them to say it back (but it's nice if they do!)

I have only ever told two people I love them. My first husband and my second and anyone else *boyfriends who said it, I never said it back cause I didn't really love them

I would very much hope for reciprocation, but would never expect or demand it.
