I think the people before us or we are lucky, our next generation or the generation after that will have some serious problems because we are continuously feeding on this planet's resources without a backup plan

@anotherclone: I agree. But forever Governments are well in the pay of corporations. They can do everything and pay legions of PR and social media experts - lie and cheat and as we know have lobby search engines to remove results. In the Uk it is a possibilty for companies to have what we call a Section D notice applied by a court - this gags the press from reporting. This gag can apply to say - other court cases, an incident or death whatever.

@anotherclone: Another thing here in UK is that we have a register of companies. It is called Company House. They keep or did keep records for years maybe 25 years, of shareholders and directors etc, Now they propose only a 6yr retention.

@anotherclone: Yes but with the global nature of business as it is there is nothing to stop Uk based or indeed based anywhere from setting up or buying shell companies in the Uk to hide or manipulate trading abroad.
