Yes, a few. When I consider who the people who have inspired me or given me the most useful information are concerned, it would seem that the majority of them were close to death.

I'm not trying to be weird, it's just a noticeable thing that stands out when I think about it. Two of them died before I was able to get answers to certain questions I had about what they had written. Most of them were women too.
