How do you define intelligence?

So someone who is practical?

@Serendipity: I probably should have said before there are so many different intelligent people. It really varies a lot. I knew a kid in school that seemed really stupid. It seemed like he could'nt comprehend anything anyone said to him.But his school work was perfecrt he comprehended everything perfectly.

@1961dave: I agree. I think there are different types of intelligence too.
