Just had a ‘courtesy call’ from the insurance company
Dealing with our flooded kitchen problem. - Week 4 since first inspected.
Kitchen will be out of action for at least two weeks while they remove the asbestos and relay then seal a concrete floor.
We’ll lose the use of all cupboards, two of which they’ll replace (not the four on the opposite side) and won’t be able to use the hob or oven and grill. Both of which, along with the sink, will be removed, stored then refitted once the floor is declared ‘safe’.
My Mother asked what she could do without use of a cooker….the response was to buy a hotplate…..£25 from Argos.
