I had an online stalker who liked to house sit in the town I lived in. And then he would do mean things because I refused to hang out with him, regardless of who he was pretending to be.

@truegen He was. He used to refer to my children as 'our' children and would message me 'anonymously' about how my kids got to school and which schools they were in. But he has since gotten married and moved away. I've moved a few times since then. I think hes lost track of me now.

@Notanymore Years ago A friend of mine had a stalker. At first she thought she was just not well and he invited her in. it was only after that she started leaving him reams of bad poetry and drawings. Would hide in his yard and follow him. She turned out to be the ex girlfriend of a roommate he had a decade before. He got a restraining order, but it helped very little. but! she eventually got back on her meds and went away...

I've never stalked anyone in a disturbing way but I had an ex stalk me online obsessively after break up if that counts.
