Do people are annoyed with autistic people?
When I talk about the same subjects I get yelled at or people walk away. I get a little upset when some says “no” to me sometimes and I tend to push people and I get yelled at. Well called out. My siblings love me but they get annoyed with me complaining about the same stuff and told me bluntly it’s annoying and I need to back off of people sometimes. My brother said I need to learn how to respect boundaries which I lack sometimes and they don’t have to explain or respond to everything and stop calling people rude.
I don’t understand why my family is so hard on me. Is it because I am autistic. My dad said it had nothing to do with me being autistic and it’s the fact that I lack respecting people’s boundaries, I am fully capable to understand that and sometimes they have to yell because I don’t listen and he refuses to let me run my mouth about the past and every time I talk about mom, he ignores me or gets in my face and calls me out to stop the junk and move on already. He isn’t nice about it. My family is kind but not NICE.
