A follow up from my last post! - Taylor Swift song!

Today I learned that when it comes to the song “[i][b]Look what you made me do[/b][/i] by Taylor Swift.

I learned that she and the songwriters had to give credit to Right Said Fred, the singers of the 1991 hit, [b][i]I’m too sexy[/i][/b]. This is because of something called interpolation. The chorus to Swift’s song is set to the same melody as [b][i]I’m too sexy[/i][/b].....

Maybe, I guess this is a pretty common issue in music today, not straight up sampling the pierce of music, but using the same melody, which is totally different.

Yes, there are music publishers that can check your work, to ensure there is no plagiarism.
