Today me and my husband was going for grocery shopping

On the way we saw small boy around 5 to 6 years old. He was selling few corns on the sideways of the street. I can't believe that boy of that age was working like that and that also early in the morning. I never like corns but I bought 2 corns from him and let him keep the change. I went to departmental stores and bought 4 biscuits, 2 noodles and cold drinks for him. He was silent while I gave him those snacks. I was comparing him with one of the kid around 7 years old staying in rent with her parents in our house. She still needs her parents for going to toilet and here that boy selling corns early in the morning while other kids might be sleeping at that time. Life is hard but hardworking people always wins at the end.

[c=BF0080]My youngest child just turned 6 and I can’t imagine him being safe doing that. Was he with adults? Even if so, I’d be concerned for his safety on the side of the road, not just from those driving by but also if someone could grab him. [/c]

@MellyMel22 he was alone. I think it is safe since police station is right infront of that place.

@Simplegirlstory [c=BF0080]They should be calling cps, a 5-6 year old child should never be alone with the public like that 🥺 What kind of parent allows that? [/c]

@MellyMel22 since lockdown, people's lives is hard here so noone can do anything.

@Simplegirlstory [c=BF0080]It was hard for everyone, but a child that age isn’t safe doing that. Their safety should always come first. [/c]

@Simplegirlstory May I ask the location (country) of where this is?

If you feel uncomfortable sharing, then please ignore my question.
