Did your old job get upset when you took a new job?

Like when someone or your old boss so they can’t guarantee you your job back or they said I’ll let you know you months and you’re tired of waiting. Well I got a new job since I can’t guarantee my old preschool job back. I know they love me over there and they might be upset that I’m not gonna work there anymore but what else am I supposed to do? I can’t keep waiting I’m not gonna wait till October. Also I don’t want to depend on unemployment benefits since they’re ending in September so they’re not gonna last long.
