Unpopular opinion but sake tastes horrendous.
Apparently you are supposed to drink it warm. Oh God why? I feel that would make it worse.

Depends on the kind of sake
Cheap sake is better warm, but really only with food.
Most good sake is enjoyed slightly below room temperature, but some is better slightly colder.
