This sounds silly , but often it works ....you need to ŕecreate the environment or variables that were happening when you hid it .
Being in the same state of mind encourages the memory to work better .
Ie...some study chewing a particular gum, and then use the same gum when they do the test .
So if it was night, and you'd had a few drinks....recreate that , and maybe redo something that you did before you decided to hide it...
