What are your plans?

The White House has announced that Biden will address the nation this week saying that the Covid numbers are down in all 50 state's. The CDC has already relaxed Covid restrictions. So as life takes a huge step in getting back to normal what are your plans? Last night I went out to dinner and left my mask in the car. I am such a rebel.

Remember the signs some businesses used to put on their doors? "No shoes, no shirt, no service?"

Now it's, "No mask, no service." Apparently I can take off my shirt and shop barefoot again...YAY!!!!

The status quo for now as we still have mask mandates. I hope that I have not forgotten to do too many things, like travel, as that has been off the table for a while. I went to Pennsylvania the day before yesterday on a shopping trip, but have been close to home for so long and gotten used to the lighter traffic patterns that it will be a change to go back to normal peak hours traffic and the like.

There are benefits to the masks and protective gear during cold and flu season while in close quarters. So, I’ll probably still keep an easily cleaned jacket handy along with my portable hand sanitizers.

@Stereoguy Part of it might be that with a rental, I have had a couple of different setups. So, it's probably user error. LOL

@Stereoguy True, they are all different. But, at least jeans are easily washed.
business as usual. mainly because my immune system kicks ass. havent been sick in at least ten years. i can chalk that up to working in prison and retail for many years. LOL

I feel like NJ is in a different world. We still have to wear masks indoors here. Only half of our state is vaccinated and not because it’s not easily available at this point, it’s because people don’t want it. I feel like I’m paying the price because of them. I’m at the point that I don’t care if they get sick now, I’m vaccinated, I want to move on.,

We’ve been open at 100% capacity since March 10 and have seen cases drop just about every week. Mask mandate was removed then as well. It’s up to businesses to decide and more and more are simply recommending them rather than require them.

stores still require it here. Likely because of the state mandate. No one wants to get sued. Not all places following the "mandate" from the overlords though. If a business asks me to wear a mask, I'll wear it out of respect for them. Otherwise... hell no.

Nothing much has changed for me. I'm an essential worker, so I have not missed work thankfully. I was wearing a mask everywhere, but I haven't worn one to the gym the last few day. Masks are still required at my work though.
Continue to try and rebuild as much of my life as possible after this weekend.
