For those who live in New York, how much money do you have to save for someone to move there?

@toddr13 yeah my best friend keeps telling me to look at the bigger picture and have an open mind and stop giving up so much. So we shouldn’t give up so much we should still keep looking. Look she can live in New York all she wants but I’m not living there. No one can make me move

@LaylaTheTallGirl No problem. It can be daunting to consider such a move. Plus, the city is in chaos right now, politically and socially, and who knows what will happen with the mayoral election?

I know my best friend wants us to be roommates and convince me to come to New York with her and live with her but I don’t think she sees the real deal. She keeps saying we go out look for low income places. She said I need to stop giving up so easily and have a open mind.

@LaylaTheTallGirl and that’s with rents down 20-25% after the mass exodus during covid. Cost of living is a huge consideration.

@Human1000 I don’t want to but my best friend us. She said that we should both move to New York. She wants asked me if I want to move there with her but I told her I’m not so sure and it’s expensive living there. She said not if we find low income houses.
