@ScarletWitch Works great on cellphones too,I put in a high quality SD card and can download thousands of videos in high defenition.For music I'm into watching live performances on YouTube and can download individual tracks or a full concert.

YouTube terms of service is no downloading so forget anything in Apple store or Google play.You will need to use an APK.Download this into your phone/tablet etc then download the YouTube Audio or video into the APK file.From here transfer to your gallery.Some video will download in 1080 you choose for yourself from options.

If you are on a Mac, there's a small program called "ClipGrab". That's what you want. You can select the format, among others MP3, and the digital data resolution.
