Please can someone tell me, if I have Covid rn will my temperature definitely be high?

I had to walk out of work today and because of Covid, everyone has their temperature checked with a laser thermometer. Mine was 36 which is OK but I thi k it's got worse IDK but I went to get tested but it takes 2 days to get results

No, it doesn't have to be high.

Try not to stress though, anxiety is bad either way and it doesn't change the outcome. Make sure to take good care of yourself and self-isolate while waiting for the results

An elevated temperature is one symptom of COVID, but it also happens for a wide variety of other reasons as well. Check your temperature a few times throughout the day to see if it varies. In the meantime, wear a mask and stay away from me (and others).
It's one of the symptoms, but you don't necessarily get all of them. If you're concerned enough to get tested, isolate until you get the results.

@NerdyPotato yeah it's just a big hassle that's all
A high temp is not guaranteed. Some people get the virus and have no symptoms, yet they can spread the virus. That's why everyone exposed should get tested.
