Chauvin murdered another human being, in front of the world

Glad he was nailed. Criminal convictions are routinely appealed, Even if a new trial is ordered because of Maxine Waters, the evidence is too profound. killing George is the most fun he will have the rest of his life.

Sick of bad cops and racism.

That man is dangerous. Kneeling on someone's neck for 9min takes another kind of evil. His entire team is to blame too. None them thought it was enough at some point. That's scary.

@eMortal that is the big problem here, noone spoke up everyone treated it like this behaviour of a police officer is completely normal.
FlowersNButterflies · 61-69, F
@SummerDream Not everybody... the firefighter tried to use her skills to check on him, but Chauvin and the 3 others wouldn't let her.

I cried. Just sat and cried.

@Heartlander
Similar story for me as well.

I live in a small town.
Driving in the city, there was construction everywhere.
It was hot, I had no AC, & I was 8 months pregnant.
The traffic lights were all off.
A police officer was directing traffic.
4 lanes ..
I was in the right lane after merging from an on ramp.
I needed to take an exit on the left, 2 blocks away.
I was panicking.
I had my signal on.
The officer stopped traffic. ( he was on the right ) I was looking to my left.
The cars all slowed to a stop..

My naive self, honestly thought people were being nice and letting me over...
not the case at all.
He called a patrol car where I was turning..
the officer that pulled me over was a total jerk.
He made me sit in the car, I asked if I could get out. I was too hot. No.

Then he asked if I had seen the traffic patrol , I said “ No, I had not.”

He was so rude, I was not prepared for it. I had never experienced an officer who used their authority to belittle me before,
“ What did you really think?!!
Do you really think were slowing down to let you move over?”
I answered honestly, and politely..
“Yes sir. “ ( by this time I was crying ) He laughed me.
And shook his head while writing me a ticket.
He thought I was being a sarcastic.
Not all .. just the opposite...

He me a ticket for illegal lane change, failure to stop and something about not following the traffic officer instructions. (huge fine).
I showed up to court and explained what happened.
I had never even had parking ticket in life.,
And I was 31 years old at the time.

The judge reduced my ticket to half of the amount because I showed up to court instead of just paying it online.
I should have complained too.

I did not follow the trial. Just the updates.
I get too emotionally “connected “ and it effects my daily life.
I just waited for it to be over.
I do not have television at all.
No cable or anything like that.
I probably wouldn’t even have internet if I didn’t need it for work.
I watch the news online.
When I need updates or info.

I still enjoy reading the news paper..
I know people think that’s weird.. ☺️

So the cop was found guilty? I was sure he would get away with it. Maybe the times are finally changing. Cheers!

I didn't see any evidence presented about him being a racist?
Heartlander · 80-89, M
@FlowersNButterflies I was referring to the trial. The prosecutor presented no evidence about racism, or that it had anything to do with racism. Yet in political circles and the newspapers it's all about racism.
FlowersNButterflies · 61-69, F
@FlowersNButterflies Info is available and the sentencing will reveal more.
FlowersNButterflies · 61-69, F
Yes because that type of issue is not germane to this crime and is with held since it can taint a jury.@Heartlander
