Do you actually believe you're responsible for and can "save" someone?

TexChik · F
Depending on the circumstances yes . I can do CPR on adult , child, or infant , use a AED, competently give certain meds ( nitro , aspirin, antihistamine , glucose ( all orally ) ) use an epi pen or inject insulin , take a Blood pressure using a sphygmomanometer and stethoscope . Find the carotid or brachial pulse , listen for breath sounds with a stethoscope, properly apply and monitor a tourniquet , temporarily seal a sucking chest wound , apply sprints and immobilize a bony fracture , apply a C collar , deal with cuts, burns, and lacerations . Identify and aid heat stroke patients, recognize a CVA ( stroke ) , I can call 911 ...And I can accurately shoot or dissuade anyone trying to harm me or my family . Other than that . They are on their own .

The older I get the less tolerance I have for broken people. At some point you have to take your medicine and put your big panties on and adult.

You can't save anyone. Only they can save themselves.

You can help them figure out how to do that, but they're the one who has to do the work.

I only believe that I can try to be truthful, helpful, and have a kind approach.
People are responsible for thier own responses and actions.

Save? Lol. No, I'm not God. it seems a bit pretentious and/or arrogant. Maybe we can enfluence them in a good way. But we can not change anyone. Hardly ourselves.

I try to be understanding... empathise .., in the end they gotta dig down deep to find that strength to save themselves

We are each responsible for those we are able to help.

Nope
Take me enough time to look after myself
HannahSky · F

Only those willing to change. TDS suffering liberals / socialists are an example of those that are not capable of saving as they cannot accept being wrong for their actions.

Naw, I don't have a god complex and it's their circus they are responsible for their own monkey's
It depends...

Responsibilit has a defenition that can only match with a few of our relationships with others..

I'd hate to think anyone would have to rely on me to

You can't save anyone that doesn't want to be.

Yes and I have.
Your children—and then only in a limited sense. The person has to want to be saved.
