Of course you are.

No choice in what happens to you when you have no independence as a child.
But as an adult you make choices; you experience the consequences of those choices.

And everything you personally choose to learn or do or experience is only a part of all that has gone before.

All previous experience will cloud your judgement in 'choice' or decision making.
