That's part of the equasion, but then there's my inherent nature, which in turn influences my experiences.

Of course you are.

No choice in what happens to you when you have no independence as a child.
But as an adult you make choices; you experience the consequences of those choices.

And everything you personally choose to learn or do or experience is only a part of all that has gone before.

All previous experience will cloud your judgement in 'choice' or decision making.

No... While they represent the journey. Your gender, race, genetic make up and socioeconomic situation represent your starting point. They are where you begin your journey. 😷

I sincerely hope not, I've learned a lot from them but they certainly aren't me.
